It has been a busy few days around my house. I baby sat for three of my GRAND daughters the last few days. 6, 2 and 9 months. Needless to say, I am exhausted. I wanted to create a card for The Friday Mashup Challenge. It was such a fun sketch and the mashup is to use a stamp set that is retiring. I needed a baby card for a shower this afternoon, so I used the colors the new Mommy is using in the baby's room. I pulled out the "Baby, We've Grown: stamp set. I am sorry to see this set retire. I think it is such a fun set and always makes a great card or gift tag.
I love to make shaker cards, so I used a lot of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and some glass beads in my shaker. It is so colorful and I know it will be cherished by the new angel's Mommy. I also used the "Alphabet Press" embossing folder and some retired Core'dinations paper. I loved that card stock because you could sand it and give it such a great texture. I think it is perfect with this embossing folder.
I added a few tags with the left over embossed Night of Navy and Orange card stock. A little clothespin and white Baker's twine finished off my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I love to hear from you so, please leave a comment! It makes me happy to hear from you!
Wishing you a wonderful week!
Happy Stampin'!

Hi Claire, what a great baby card! Making it a shaker card and using those nice, bright colours really works. And using those adorable owls on the inside really completes the card perfectly. Thanks so much for joining us this week for the Friday Mashup.
