It has been such a miserable day in Georgia. It has been raining all day. Just waiting to see if the temperature drops enough to form ice. No complaints after seeing the news and looking at pictures in Boston! YIKES!
I LOVE Santa and this week the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge wants Santa on the cards! I am so happy to make a card for this wonderful challenge! The Design Team is just amazing and always inspires me!
I used Distress Inks to create my watercolored background and then stenciled embossing paste over it to create stars. I love this look. The little Santa is hiking to his next destination, but he dropped a few of his gifts along the way!
Copic Markers, Wink of Stella and the Marvy Snow Marker accent his suit and packages.
The color is not as vibrant in the second photo. Sorry!

DeleteClaire, hope it's not icy there! We had a few inches of snow and have a day off today, so that's fun (but luckily nothing like in Boston)! I LOVE this fun card, your Santa is so cute and jolly...too bad he's dropped some goodies! I love the puffy white on his fur coat...and cool stenciled sky!
