Make Today Amazing--PP231

February 8, 2014

 It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  Nance is our hostess and she has a lovely color challenge for us. --Real Red, Calypso Coral and Basic Black--  We can't wait to see how you use this color combo!

My card is whimsical today.  I wanted to use the Calypso Coral pompom trim on my card.  I think they are so fun and it is the perfect accent with this tag.


 I heat embossed the black tag with white embossing powder.  Then, I re-inked the stamp and stamped the "Today" and colored it with the red marker.  I used dimensionals to raise the today off the tag.  Candy dots, ribbon and twine add more color to my card.

This card can be used for a birthday, anniversary, or a event that someone is participating in, or just a feel good card to brighten someone's day!

    I just love your fun and whimsical tag, Claire! All of the detail on the tag totally pops on the chevron DSP. I love everything about it...especially that sassy pom pom trim. Too cute! :)

    This is such a great card! I love the black and white tag with a pop of red and any reason to use the pompom trim has to be good! This card has such broad appeal too - I think it would work for men and women, teens and older. Just great!
