LOVE & JOY--Merry Monday #126

September 15, 2014

It's Monday and time for another Merry Monday Christmas Challenge!  Karen's challenge this week is to make the sentiment the star of your card.  I decided to ink up my Love & Joy stamp that only got used a few times last year.  I hope you will enjoy my card!  It is a Z-fold card.  I am excited to be building my Christmas card stash ahead of schedule this year.  Another great reason to play along!

I did use a few retired Stampin' Up! products on my card.  The Designer Series Paper is called Candlelight Christmas.  I also had a few sheet of Lucky Limeade that I have been hoarding and used it for my card.  I love that color and I am so sad they retired it.  I also used Lucky Limeade ink for the inside sentiment.  I used the Holly Jolly and Love & Joy stamps from last years Christmas catalog.  The Cherry Cobbler ribbon is also retired, but I loved the way the card came together with all these products.

Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I always love to hear from you!

  10. Claire, your card reminds me of Christmas past. There is such a rich feel to the background with that beautiful bow. The bold sentiment on the white background really showcases the sentiment. Gorgeous

  14. Beautiful card! I had to have that stamp last year, and then I've never used it. I've taken it out a few times and then always end up putting it back and I'm not sure why as I love it! You did a wonderful job with it, and I love how you cut out the "&" too! Well done!! :0)
