It's Your Birthday--PP209 and Seize the Birthday

 It's Sunday, so that means it is time for another challenge at The Paper Players!

 The Lovely LeAnne is hosting the Clean and Simple (CAS) challenge this week.  We are celebrating her granddaughter, Cassidy's birthday!  She is part of LeAnne's blog each day and I do enjoy watching her grow up!  She is adorable and brings many smiles each week!  

Clean and Simple means limiting your layers and embellishments-----nothing overly fussy for those wee ones' birthdays!  Get those stamps inky an punches punching!  Can't wait to see what you create!  Make sure your stop by the Design Teams blogs for lots of fantastic ideas and inspiration!  


I am also entering my card in the Seize the Birthday Challenge.  I haven't made many birthday cards lately, so I am excited to link to this challenge, too!

If you follow my blog or know me very well, you know that CAS is very difficult for me.  I love lots of layers and embellishments and embossing is my favorite technique.  I made three cards before I was satisfied with my results.  I like my fun candles and the candy dots are like confetti to me!  I hope you will enjoy my card, too!

    Fun card Claire! The rainbow colored candles are fantastic. I too struggle with CAS cards but I definitely believe you nailed it.

      Oh my, this card just made me grin from ear to ear! LOVE the bright colors, fun "confetti" and the rainbow-hued candles are PERFECT for a kid's card! LOVE IT!
