Creepy, Crawly Halloween--PP204

July 13, 2014

The Paper Players Challenge is a fabulous color challenge this week!  I decided to step out of the box and do something totally different this week.  I placed the four colors on my desk and looked at them for a few minutes trying to decide how to incorporate the Wisteria Wonder with the Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss.  These colors called out "Halloween" to me!  I love Halloween and I always send out a lot of cards for this fun day, so I decided it would be a good idea to get started on my stack of cards.  As fast as this year is flying by, it will be October before I blink.

The Design Team has beautiful samples this week using the color palette!  Make sure you stop by their blogs for inspiration.  You will not be disappointed!!

I've been wanting to make a shaker card for weeks and finally received the Shaker Frames in my Stampin' Up! order this week!  I hope you will enjoy my card!

Stampin' Up! Products:

I used the retired Halloween Stamps:  Googly Ghouls and Halloween Bash Stamp Sets for my card.  I also used sequins from my stash of embellishments.

  8. Claire, sorry to miss you at convention. I couldn't make it this year!

I love that you created a Halloween card. You really showcased how versatile these colors are and that they aren't just for florals. I am in love with the little shaker window in your card!
