How did it get to be July 12!!! We have been in a whirlwind the last few days. Miss Addison and Miss Victoria are here for a few days and on top of that our new GRAND daughter, Maggie Jean arrived yesterday morning. She is a beautiful addition to our family!
I have been working on my card for the last few days for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge. With a 5 and 2 year old under foot, it had to be created in stages. Daffodil Delight and Night of Navy look so amazing together. My card is for a very dear lady that will be turning 90 this week. She is my friend's aunt, but I have always called her my Aunt Polly, too! I wanted to created something very special for her. This is my first attempt at a six sided card. I used this tutorial by Dawn Griffith as a guide for my card. I used the regular card stock and it is a rather thick card. I added a lot of dimensionals and I will have to send this card in a padded envelope, but it was so important to me that it be very unique for such a FABULOUS woman!
The ribbon is strictly to hold the card together and has to be removed to open it!
