There's Magic in the Air The Paper Players PP612

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. 

The amazing Laurie is our hostess and she has a fun color challenge for all of us!  We can't wait to see what you create. 

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a layer of black and then the white panel.  The white layer is watercolor paper so it adds texture.  I used a Halloween stencil to create the background I used grey ink and a sponge.  The stencil is from a company that is no longer in business--Craftin Desert Divas---.   The little witch, stars, cats and bats are from a stamp set from SugarPea Designs, called Bewitched .  I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers.   The sentiment is from the same set.

I Just Hugged You in My Thoughts! The Paper Players Challenge PP611

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. 

The amazing Joanne is our hostess this week and she has a fantastic Theme Challenge for all of us!  "Changing Seasons" is so appropriate with the seasons changing and the days getting shorter.  We can't wait to see what you create!  

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a piece of Early Expresso card stock to the base.  I used the plaid paper from Lawn Fawn for the next two layers.  I have had this paper for a while, so not sure if it is still available.  I used the MFT Inside & Out Stitched Arch Stax Dies to cut these panels.  Then I cut a third layer with Very Vanilla card stock.  The little girl is a PI Girl from My Favorite Things.  The Jumping With Joy set is just perfect for changing season,  I colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced her pants and scarf.  The leaves are cut with the plaid papers I used in the background.  I cut the girl and leaves with the matching dies.  I stamped the sentiment in dark brown.  It is from the same stamp set.

With Deepest Sympathy! Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC293

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  

Fall has arrived and we have a very timely "Color Challenge" for all of you!  We can't wait to see what you create! 

                Please use a minimum of three colors  

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a top layer of white using the Nordic Frame Die.  I used the Picket Fences Shadow of Leaves stencil and shaded the leaves with orange, brown and cream.  I kept blending the inks until I was satisfied with the colors.  I cut the Sympathy Die from SugarPea Designs five times to stack them up for lots of dimension. The sentiment "with deepest" is stamped in dark brown on Very Vanilla card card stock and I sponged around it with dark brown ink.
