Merry and Bright--CAS-ing Christmas

December 5, 2015

It's time for a new challenge at CASEing Christmas!  This month it is "Anything Goes!"  Have fun!  We can't wait to see your creations!

This month we are having a blog hop at CAS-ing Christmas.  We hope you will enjoy all of the featured cards!

My base card is white.  I used the SugarPea Designs Zig-Zag stitched dies to cut the black and white checked background and the Red and white rectangle.  I found the paper in my stash.  The tag is cut on white using Reverse Confetti Tag Die-Thanks.  I stamped the Reverse Confetti "Merry and Bright Light Bulbs in Bermuda Bay and Real Red ink on white card stock.  They were cut out using the Reverse Confetti-Merry and Bright Die.  I colored the top of the bulb with a C3 Copic Marker.  Wink of Stella was added for shine.  Red enamel dots were added for fun.  I found and red ribbon in my stash to use on the tag and cut a piece of white Baker's Twine to tie the bow.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I love to hear from you!

Don't forget to stop by all the blogs for each Design Team  member for lots of inspiration!

Hugs!
Claire

To: Santa--SugarPea Designs Introduction to Challenge Blog

December 2, 2015

Today is such an EXCITING DAY for me!  I have wanted to be a part of the SugarPeaDesigns  team for such a long time!  When the amazing Wendy Ramlakhan and Lesley Croghan  asked me to be a member of the new Challenge Team, I was over the moon happy!  "Dreams really do come true!"  I thank them both, from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful opportunity!

I am honored to be working on a team with all of these FANTASTIC designers!  Make sure you hop through their blogs to be inspired!  Such a creative and fun group!  I am truly thankful to be a part of this team!

The Challenges will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 9th!  Each month, we will have a weekly Sketch for you to try!  You can play along each week for a chance to win!!  We will announce our Sweet Picks and our Main Winner  at the end of each month. So, the more times you play, the better chance you have of winning!  Each month, one randomly selected winner will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe. However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp we will increase the prize to $75!

**You can find SugarPea Designs on Facebook and Pinterest**

On a white card base, I used DSP I found in my stash for the background paper.    I used the SugarPea-Notebook Journal Card and another piece of DSP to cut the note card.  My sweet little girl is from the stamp set " Take Note " by SugarPeaDesigns. I paper pieced her sweater and skirt using the same papers.  A variety of Copic Markers were used to color her hair, skin and shoes.  I added Wink of Stella for some added shine.  The reindeer clip keeps her notes together for Santa.  A little bow and button were added for fun!

I am very happy you stopped by my blog today!  If you have time, please leave a comment.  I love to hear from you!

HUGS,
Claire
