I am the hostess this week and I have a fun sketch for all of you! Make a square card and add any type of layered shape. You can create any type of card with this sketch.
I cut a 5 x 5 white square card base. I used a die that creates a black frame. I added some retro a paper for the next layer. A black circle was cut to back the pink phone. The phone was stamped using Stamps for Life Phone4 stamp set and cut using the matching die. The sentiment is from the same set.

SO cute! I love this retro/vintage phone, in pink no less, and the background is spot on! I definitely will need to play with this sketch this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card, Claire! I miss having things like powder pink rotary phones, I think the mid-century modern look needs to come back with colorful kitchens and bathrooms as I'm allergic to all this millennial gray. Cute, cute, cute card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun use of our sketch...sure to inspire those who decide to play along with our HIP TO BE SQUARE challenge over at Sunday Stamps. Your retro phone is the cutest...kids now a days might not even know what that thing is...LOL...!! #SSC391
ReplyDeleteOh I love that retro pink phone Claire - the teenager in me would have loved to have one of those for endless chatting with friends!
