It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The

The lovely Laurie is our hostess this week at The Paper Players.  She has a very fun theme challenge for all of us!  "Turkey Time" What a great idea for our challenge this week!

The Sunday Stamps challenge is a color challenge.  These colors are gorgeous and just perfect for Fall.   I found it was perfect to combine these two challenges this week. It doesn't happen very often!

I added a chocolate brown background on my white card base. I added a plaid rectangle  on the side.  I also added a strip of wood grained paper along the bottom.  I used the Spellbinder Small Die of the Month from October 2019 to make the little lady with her pie.  It has so many little pieces to piece together, but I love the way she turned out.  We are huge pie eaters for Thanksgiving, so I have several people in my family that would love this card.

  4. Love those colours Claire and as for your card - what's not to love about pie?! Although I must confess to never having eaten a pumpkin one! Not sure i ever look as elegant as the lady on your card after I've been cooking, but I digress - fab card for thanksgiving!

  5. Super cute card for Thanksgiving Claire! Reminds me of photos I have of my Mom and Grandma cooking our holiday dinners in their dresses after baking a number of yummy pies earlier in the day. Beautiful colors in your papers and certainly a fabulous die cut holiday pie baker!
