It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!
The amazing Joanne is our hostess and she has a beautiful sketch for all of us. WOW! This one is so versatile and the possibilities are endless. I love all the layers!
I choose a brick paper to add for the background on my card. I found a piece of floral fall paper to use for the large rectangle. I added purple gingham for the vertical banner and a small piece of wood grained paper for the square. I love all these patterns together. I used a strip of music paper and a wood strip for the sentiment. The sunflower is stamped using the Stampin Up Painted Harvest stamp set. I used Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Blackberry Bliss inks for the sunflower. The sentiment is stamped in black. I added some Wink of Stella on the Sunflower for shine.

Claire, I just love how you combined the beautiful patterned papers together for this lovely fall card! The brick is the perfect background. The rich colors in the sunflower are SO pretty, too.ReplyDelete
Claire, that rust brick background just feels like the perfect backdrop for your fabulous florals and gorgeous sunflower. The touch of gingham reminds me of eary fall picnics and love the layered woodgrain! Awesome use of the sketch, my friendReplyDelete
