Forward---Twofer Challenge 31

January 19, 2018

I have been a little under the weather this week and with the snow and ice in Atlanta, I thought I would have a lot of crafty time, but my mojo has been "Gone With The Wind"!

The amazingly talented Darnell has a fabulous new challenge.  It is called the Twofer Card Challenge.
I look forward to playing along and I am certain the Design Team will bring so much inspiration our way!

The theme for this week is "Feathers".  I dug through my stamps and found one that I just love and have never used. I guess Darnell would call that "NBUS"!  "Never before used Stuff".  LOL!  She is hilarious!

My stamp set is from Unity Stamps.  The stamp set is called Forward and Through. It is perfect for a variety of cards.  Graduation, Encouragement, Love, Retirement, Get Well--the possibilities are endless.

I used colored pencils on the feathers.  I love Native American Art and this stamp reminds me of a painting I have seen.

So happy you stopped by my blog today!

Sending warm hugs your way!

XXX,
Claire

  1. Claire, both of your cards are amazing! I love your use of colored pencils, and the splattered effects on your panels. The addition of those hearts one the blue one was a great idea! These are wonderful cards, and I'm so glad to see you in the gallery! Thank you for joining us at the Twofer Challenge!! Bev

  3. Thank you for your lovely words and for your support, Claire! I really appreciate it! You have made two stunning cards and I love that you also used NBUS! That's a great feather image and I suspect that you will find more ways to use it for card designs in the future! And, girl, you are a pro with the splatters! Thank you so much for playing in my first Twofer Card Challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

  4. Nothing better on a cold winters day than stamping in a warm house. I love how you let the arrows lead you in the different themes for your cards. Wonderful cards.
