Happy Memorial Day! I hope you have a relaxing day! It has been a very eventful weekend at my house. We enjoyed boating on the lake and cooking out with family! I love our special times together!
My card today is for The Challenge! We hope you will play along with us!
Just a few things to do:
1. Use the challenge to create a card.
2. Please add the challenge photo to your post (copy and paste).
3. Have fun and comment on the submissions of others.
4. Anything that is offensive to myself or to my viewers will be removed.
5. Have fun.
My card was made for my Granddaughter's Kindergarten teacher. The base card is Basic Black (5 1/2 X 4 1/4). The next layer is Real Red (5 1/4 X 4). The next layer is from October Afternoon Schoolhouse paper (5 X 3 3/4). I stamped the little bear from the SugarPea Designs-Teacher's Pet stamp set with black ink. I colored him with a variety of Copic Markers. I cut a Basic Black rectangle and then a patterned paper rectangle from the Schoolhouse pack for the next layers. I cut a black circle from my stitched dies and stamped the sentiment in Versa Mark and heat embossed it in white embossing powder. I adhered the bear on top of the circle with dimensionals. I added black Baker's Twine to the buttons and adhered them using glue dots.
A lined envelope with a personal note of thanks completed my card.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. Please leave a message and let me know your thoughts. I love to hear from you!
Don't miss what the rest of The Challenge team and our talented lineup of guests created for this week's sketch challenge. Here's where to find them:
This is a one week challenge. It will end Sunday, May 31th at noon. (PST)
Have a wonderful week!
