Life Is An Adventure--PP243 and CASology

May 3, 2015

It's Sunday and time to play along with the Paper Players!  The sensational, Sandy is our hostess this week.  She is challenging us with a "Transportation" theme.  Feel free to think beyond trains, planes and automobiles. You can use Santa's sleigh, roller skates, even the stork! We can't wait to see what you come up with.

I am also playing along with CASology!  The theme this week is flight!
The Quirky Crafts Challenge is also using Transportation as their theme!  Check out both of these fabulous blogs for lots of inspiration!

My card was designed using the SugarPea Designs-Wanderlust Stamp Set.
I stamped the airplane in black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I used a circle die to cut it out and sponged it with Sky Blue ink.  The layers and trim piece were cut using My Favorite Things "Blueprints 14 die set using Simple Stories Paper.

I used black ink for the sentiment and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  A few stars were stamped with Sky Blue Ink and the edges were sponged.  A black brad was added on the airplane propeller.  Black and white Baker's Twine and a black button were added.

I love the way this card turned out.  It could be used for a graduation card or for many other occasions.  It is the perfect card for any guy in your life.  Let me know your thoughts.  Please leave a comment!  I love to hear from you!

Any questions, please email me at: Claire.
