You're In My Thoughts--PPA 206 FM163

June 7, 2014

I am sorry that I haven't posted in a few days.  My friend, Pam came to spend two days with me and we taught a card making class on Thursday.  The time went too quickly and now I only have a few days before my college girlfriend comes for a week.  I am going to try to make a few cards to post before I take a few days off next week.

I made a card for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and used the colors from the Pals Paper Arts Challenge.  Pacific Point is one of my favorite colors.  I knew it would be easy to use So Saffron with it, but I was challenged to incorporate the Baked Brown Sugar.  After a lot of thought and pulling out SOOOO many stamp sets, I decided to make a polka dot background and my card came together.  I also used different patterned paper to mash it up for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  I hope you will enjoy my card!

  9. Like usual, you've created another lovely card, Claire. I have to admit I'd have a hard time putting those colors together, but you managed to pull it off beautifully! Thanks for playing with us at the Friday Mashup.
