It was a gorgeous day! I spent the whole morning planting flowers. I always plant a lot of pots on my deck so that I can enjoy them all summer. I do love the way they look. I know my Daddy was smiling down from heaven today when he saw me planting flowers. He was a farmer at heart and loved to watch things grow. I guess I still have a lot of Indiana Farm Girl in me!
I wanted to make a card for The Colour Me Challenge this week. It was fun to choose the color combo you wanted to use this week. That was perfect for me because I wanted to make my 85 year old Mommy's Mother's Day card. She loves greens and brown tones and purple. I know she will love the distressed look and the old fence, too. I hope you like it, too!
My five colors are: Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, So Saffron, Wisteria Wonder and Naturals White.
