Wonderful Mother CMCC NO.18

May 3, 2014

It was a gorgeous day!  I spent the whole morning planting flowers.  I always plant a lot of pots on my deck so that I can enjoy them all summer.  I do love the way they look.  I know my Daddy was smiling down from heaven today when he saw me planting flowers.  He was a farmer at heart and loved to watch things grow.  I guess I still have a lot of Indiana Farm Girl in me!

I wanted to make a card for The Colour Me Challenge this week.  It was fun to choose the color combo you wanted to use this week.  That was perfect for me because I wanted to make my 85 year old Mommy's Mother's Day card.  She loves greens and brown tones and purple.  I know she will love the distressed look and the old fence, too.  I hope you like it, too!

My five colors are:  Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, So Saffron, Wisteria Wonder and Naturals White.

Stampin' Up! Products:

Paper:  Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Naturals White, Gumball Green Designer Series Paper

Ink:  Crumb Cake, Wisteria Wonder, So Saffron, Gumball Green

Tools:  Stampin' Trimmer, Snail Adhesive, Big Shot Cutting Machine, Envelope Liner Framelit, Paper Snips, Stampin' Dimensionals, Bird Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Sponge Dauber, Distressing Tool

Don't forget to remember your Mom on Mother's Day.  I am very thankful and blessed to have my Mom.  I only wish we didn't live so far apart.
