Wishing You HSS Color Challenge #172

November 13, 2013

It is so cold this morning!  Great day to stay in and drink coffee and make cards!!

The Hand Stamped Sentiment Challenge this week presented colors I would normally NEVER use together.  That IS why they call it a challenge!  Soft Sky, Crisp Cantaloupe, Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake were the goal for this card.  Let me know your thoughts.  Please leave a comment at the bottom of the post.  I spent a longgggg time on this card because I just couldn't decide how to make the color combo come together.  The Crisp Cantaloupe and Blushing Bride are the ones that caused me such a dilemma!  At the end, I was pleased with the vintage look and I think it looks like a BIG gift for someone special!  ENJOY!

  1. WOW, will this make a wonderful presentation! That bow is great! I, too, had trouble with the Cantaloupe and Blushing Bride and decided to just go throw it in there. Your card turned out gorgeous, and that stamp is one of my personal favorites. Thanks for playing at HSS ~ Erika
