It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.
The amazing LeAnne is the hostess this week at The Paper Players. She has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us. The theme is "Things With Wheels." I combined it with the sketch by Heidi from Sunday Stamps . It is a CAS sketch, so it worked perfectly to showcase my little cars.
I found a summer paper pad in my stash and pulled these four pieces from the pack to create my card. I covered the card base with the turquoise wood grained paper and the next layer was a neutral wood grain. I cut the triangles in two sizes. The little VW's with the surfboards made me smile. Perfect for "things with wheels." The sentiment is from MFT Pure Innocence stamp set. They are no longer in business and it makes me so sad. I will miss them so much. To keep it CAS I did not add any embellishments.

So cute! That sketch intrigued me, and I am happy to see that it's a challenge too, so I hope I get to play with it! Love those fun little cars on your papers!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute paper, Claire! Who doesn't love a VW Beetle with a surfboard on top! It has a retro-beachy 60's vibe that I love. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteClaire... that sentiment is priceless!!
ReplyDeleteThat paper is so fun and I love the sentiment (such a shame about MFT too, you've made some cute cards with those Pure Innocence images!) A great use of the sketch triangles too - these are the shape I struggle to use most!
