Masculine Card SUO #81

October 11, 2013

I had a great day with special friends.  We attended the Scott's Antique Market in Atlanta.  It is always such a great time walking through the booths and finding special treasures.  The weather was fabulous and it was great to be outside.

The SUO challenge this week was a masculine card.  Well, the first thing that came to my mind was golf.  Since my husband and my sons all love to play, I thought this would be the perfect card.  I don't have a stamp set for golf, so I just cut a few circles with a circle punch and embossed them with a little sponging.  I thought they turned out perfectly.  I also chose the Epic Day Designer Series Paper, but turned it with the line going up and down to give the image of going "DOWN" the fairway.  Hope you enjoy my card.

    1. Thank you very much, Julie! Yes, I do love to go to antique shops and markets! I sometimes call it "Junkin!" It is so fun to go in the Fall when the weather is beautiful, too!
I really appreciate your kind comments on my card. All my guys are golfers, so I thought it was fun!

  2. Love the stack a golf balls! How fitting for a golf lover! The President's Cup was just held in the city where I live...so we lived and breathed golf for a week (and during The Memorial, too!) I bet your hubby probably watched it on TV, right? Thanks for playing along with the Masculine challenge on SUO Challenges!
