I really liked the sketch for Create with Connie and Mary this week. I have made so many Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas cards in the last few weeks, I decided to create a little twist on the Fall holiday themes. I was shopping for pumpkins the other day and looked at all the beautiful pansies and realized I need to plant mine before the end of October. I know in the Mid-West (Indiana) where I grew up, pansies are planted in the Spring. But in Georgia, we plant them in October and they bloom all winter----that is if you can keep the deer away. They eat pansies like candy. I am always drawn to the dark purple pansies and hope to get mine planted this week. The Array of Sunshine stamp reminds me of a pansy. I used Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black Polka Dots for a friend that has a Halloween birthday. Hope you enjoy my card!

We're still planting pansies here in Oklahoma and they will last all winter as long as they get moisture. They REALLY brighten up the winter, don't they?
