The Challenge #68

 It's time for a new challenge at The Challenge!

 We have a beautiful color challenge for you today!  We can't wait to see what you create!  


A few rules to keep things fun and fair!
1. Use the challenge to create a card.
2. Please add the challenge graphic to your blog post (copy and paste).
3. Have fun and comment on the submissions of others.
4. Anything that is offensive to myself or to my viewers will be removed.
5. Please only link to 3 other challenges plus our challenge for a total of 4 challenges.
6. Have fun!



My card is created using the the SugarPea Designs Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles die on the striped background.  The toucan stamp is from Clearly Besotted.  Some Birdie Loves You is such a fun set.  I could just see these tropical birds made from this gorgeous color palette.  I colored them with Copic Markers and cut them out using the matching dies.  I added a strip of hearts behind the white panel for these love birds.  Wink of Stella and a black embossed sentiment made my card sparkle.

Love Is In The Air--SSC124

 It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

This week we have a fun sketch challenge for you!  We can't wait to see what you create!

This challenge will run for 2 weeks.



My card is created on a white card base.  I cut the striped paper using the SagarPea Designs Stitched Rectangle Die.  The polka dots were cut using the Lawn FawnStitched Party Banners die.  A circle was cut using a die and white paper added behind the opening.  The little birds are stamped on Neenah Solor white.  The stamp set Some Birdie Loves You is from Clearly Besotted.  I colored the love birds with Copic Markers and used the matching dies.  Notice the little ring in his hand?  I know a secret that is coming and will be able to send this card after the big question is popped.  The sentiment is stamped in black Versa Fine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I added some Wink of Stella on the love birds and tied a white Baker's Twine ribbon through the banner.  I love the way this card turned out!  It made me smile!

It's Your Day--PP290

 The week just flew by and it's Sunday again and time for a new challenge at 
The Paper Players!

 I wanted to add that I was blown away by some of the cards last week for Laurie's Western Themed challenge!  So many of you mentioned that you didn't own a Western themed stamp.  But, WOW----did you come up with some fantastic cards!  


 The amazingly talented Joanne is our hostess this week.  She has a beautiful color combo for all of us to play along with.  We can't wait to see what you create! 


My card is created using a white card base.  The next layer is Mossy Meadows cut with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Dies by My Favorite Things.  I added a white background behind the Pumpkin Pie polka dot paper also cut with the Wonky Stitched die.  The paper is retired from Stampin' Up!.  The flowers are from Doddle Buds by WPlus 9 stamps.  I stamped them on Neenah Solar White paper and colored them with a variety of Copic Markers.  I used the Doddle Buds Die to cut out each piece.  I added some Wink of Stella to the buds and used a white gel pen for some added fun.
