Oh Happy Day The Paper Players PP726

February 23, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Stef is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous sketch challenge for all of us.  It is so versatile and easy to make any type of card with this one.  So have fun and get creative.

I was organizing some of my papers and I came across this fabulous garden paper.  I just loved the polka dot boots, so I decided they would make a great border for this sketch.  I used a coordinating paper for the center section.  Then I die cut a tag and added some of the matching stickers for the wreath and sentiment.  A piece of lace and a few pearls completed my card.  I am still longing for Spring.  It won't be long now!

With Sympathy Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC354

February 16, 2025

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

We have a gorgeous color palette for all of you!  Signs of Spring are starting to show in Atlanta.  I long for warmer days.  So get creative and have fun with these pretty colors!

I love layers so, I started by layering the background.  This 3D embossing folder adds so much dimension to my card.  The Stampin Up Forever Fern set and dies  were used to create the foliage.  Shades of aqua, yellow and brown inks were used.  The aqua panel was added for the sentiment.  The sentiment is a set in my stash.  I added pearls to complete my card.

With You Is My Happy Place The Paper Players Challenge PP725

February 16, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The lovely Jan is our hostess this week and she has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us.  Masculine cards are always needed so let's have some fun and get creative making a CAS card for a special guy!

I embossed the white panel for my background with an embossing folder.  The wood grain circle was stamped on Crumb Cake card stock using the Wood Background by Sweet and Sassy Stamps.  The cardinal was created using the Honey Bee Lovely Layers Winter Birds Dies.  This cardinal looks so realistic.  I just love this die set.  The greenery was cut using green a brown card stock.  The sentiment is from my stash.

Thanks a Bunch The Paper Players PP724

 February 9, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The Lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a gorgeous color combo for all of us!  This sure makes me think of Spring.  It has been "Spring-Like" in Atlanta this week, but I know we will still have a few cold days ahead.  Have fun and get creative with these pretty colors.

I started by embossing a panel of Summer Splash with a 3D embossing folder.  I love the texture these 3d folders create.  I trimmed the panel with a scalloped die.  The envelope and bow are from the the Pink Fresh Studio Floral Envelope Stamp Set.  The flowers were stenciled using the Pink Fresh Beautiful Blooms Stamp Set, Die SetStencil Set.  I love the way it turned out.  The sentiment is from the set, too!  I added pearls to complete the card.

LOVE Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC 353 The Paper Players Challenge PP723

February  2, 2025

It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps

The amazing Ann is the hostess this week and she has a timely Theme Challenge for us.  "Love is in the Air" is perfect for February.  So many ideas--Valentine's, Anniversaries, Friends, Birthday love and weddings.

I am the hostess this week at Sunday Stamps and I have an fun sketch challenge for all of you!  I love layers and this sketch can be used for any type of card.  So have fun and get creative!

My card is created using the Stampin Up Marbled Elegance DSP.  I love red and when I saw this paper, I knew it had to be in my stash.  I used circle dies to create the gold circles.  I cut the groovy love using a die from Cherry Lynn Designs.  I cut three more hearts from the same DSP and added gold enamel dots to create my card.
