Let's Celebrate--PP299 and FMS 240

June 12, 2016

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

My dear friend LeAnne is our hostess this week!   She has a FUN color challenge for us to play along with.  There are so many possibilities and we can't wait to see what you create.  My first thought was patriotic, but there are endless ideas for this color palette!

I am also entering my card in the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week! It was the perfect sketch for my card!

My card is created on a Dapper Denim card base.  It is new color from Stampin' Up!  I used Very Vanilla card stock and embossed it with a star embossing folder.  I cut papers from an old Authentique paper pack for all the rectangles.  Crumb Cake ink is sponged on all the pieces  for an antiqued look.  A stitched square was cut using a die from Simon Says Stamp.  The flag from the Sunny Studio Stamps Stars and Stripes is stamped in black Versa Mark ink and colored with SU blendabilites (retired).  I used the matching die from Sunny Studio to cut out the flag.  Wink of Stella was added to make old glory shine and Cherry Cobbler enamel dots were added for fun!

So happy you stopped by my blog today!  Please leave a message!  I love to hear from you!

Don't forget to check out the fabulous inspirations from our design team and I hope that you will play along with our challenge this week.
