It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.
The amazing Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a very timely Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us. "Foliage" is the theme. So have fun and get creative. Just remember to keep it CAS!
My card is created on an Early Expresso card base. I added a panel of Very Vanilla. The leaves were stenciled using a few distress ink colors. I cut the panel using the SU Textured Notes dies. I sponged brown ink around the panel. The sentiment is stamped in brown ink. The sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps Fall For You. The matching dies were used to cut out the sentiment. Three enamel dots were added to complete my card.

I love the colors on your leafy background and that greeting is such a wonderful one for fall cards, I have the same saying in an SU! stamp set. Lovely card!
ReplyDeleteThe stencilled leaves look great. There's a real sense of movement and flow in them, which is picked up in the funky lettering of the sentiment. With the rich base, the card has a really warm feeling.
