It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.
The super talented Stef is our hostess this week and she has a fun Theme Challenge for all of us. "Round We Go" is the theme---feature circles on your cards this week. Get creative and have fun!
I found this fabulous circle paper in my stash. I thought it would be the perfect background for my patriotic card. My card is created using new items from The Greetery. The Stars and Stripes Bow Die was used to create the bow. The sentiment is created using the Land of Liberty Stamp Set. I stamped it with Versa Mark and heat embossed the sentiment with white on red card stock. The matching Land and Liberty Die Set was used to cut the sentiment out. I just LOVE the way this turned out!
I made several of these cards. Here is another example using circles in the background.

Claire... I thought for sure you had stamped the background. Great DSP! And love the patriotic set... super sweet. Hope the 4th was good to you. We were rained out unfortunately but there is always next year...and the fireworks on tv were great (with less reaction from the dog!)
ReplyDeleteGREAT card! I'm always looking for new patriotic stamps & dies, as I am very patriotic.
ReplyDeleteThis Greetery die is fabulous. I'm hoping I can find it. And your blue dot background paper is perfect! Thanks for sharing!
I love that bow!!! I'm going to have to check that out since we have so many July birthdays in my family. Fantastic card!
ReplyDeleteClaire, when I saw your card, my jaw literally hit the floor. Your first card is absolutely stunning! The die cuts against the circle paper really stand out. This is one die I would LOVE to own. Not only did you knock this one out of the park...you knocked it out of the universe! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully patriotic card!!
