It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

Claire, what can I say? You have used two of my all-time favorite things on your beautiful card: Plaid and Pearls. I LOVE it! It's a lovely Spring card that can be used for so many occasions by switching out the sentiment. Versatile cards are the best! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteThose layered flowers are just lovely Claire and the plaid gives them a fun, almost patchwork feel. I think this makes for a wonderfully uplifting sympathy card - great job!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers seem far too pretty for such a sad sentiment. I do like the way you've used patterned paper for the leaves as it adds a pretty texture. Enjoy your week. :-)
ReplyDeleteClaire...love the plaids in your beautiful big poppies... the sentiment is hard for such a delightful card...
ReplyDeleteClaire, love the paper-pieced poppies. The layers with the different colors and patterns work beautifully together. I agree with Ann, it's the perfect card to work for a variety of different occasions. Thanks for rocking my challenge this week

Such a sweet card, Claire! The plaid works so well as part of the die cut petals and the soft green argyle for the leaves is perfect! It will definitely bring a lift to the recipient, no matter the occasion.
ReplyDeleteI am a firm believe that sympathy cards don't need to be dull and drab, and you've created one that will definitely put some cheer into someone's life! Beautiful plaids, beautiful flowers!
