Frightfully Sweet The Paper Players Challenge PP610

 Sept. 25, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  The amazing Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous sketch for all of us.  There are so many possibilities with this sketch.  We can't wait to see what you create.

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a layer of black card stock.  The next layer was cut using a die and black shimmer paper.  The ghost is from SugarPea Designs.  The stamp set is retired but, I keep it in my stash because I love it.  The set is call Eek-a- Boo.  I shaded it with Copic Markers and colored the Boo banner and tie with Copics, too!  Then I fussy cut the ghost and added Wink of Stella for shine.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and cut with a smaller die from the die set.  I added a few green enamel dots to complete my card.

The amazing Amy created this sketch!  It is so versatile, too!  You can use it for any type of card.  I love that!

My card is created using coffee patterned papers from my stash.  The background is lots of coffee cups and the top panel is coffee beans   The little PI Girl is from MFT Grande-Sized Love stamp set.  I colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced her dress.  I added Wink of Stella for shine.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I cut it with a banner die and sponged the outline with black ink.

Happy Fall Y'all The Paper Players Challenge PP609

 Sept. 18, 2022

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  Fall will arrive this week!  I love Fall because Halloween and Thanksgiving are favorite holidays of mine.  SO many activities going on, too!  Such a blessing to see the hot, humid days in Atlanta get cooler, too!

I am the hostess this week and I hope you will have fun creating CLEAN and SIMPLE cards using scarecrows and/or leaves.  I know there will be some amazing cards in the gallery this week!

** remember to keep it CAS!

My card is created on a white card base.  I used the Scalloped Edge Basic Edge Die from MFT to cut the border on the white card stock.  I added a piece of leaf patterned paper for the bottom of my card.  I found these leaves in my stash.  Lord knows, I own tons of patterned paper!   LOL!  The little scarecrow is from SugarPea Designs. It is now retired. It is called "Bountiful Blessings" --if you want to search for one.  I love this scarecrow because it is a girl.  I guess I always think of scarecrows as boys.  I colored her with Copic Markers and added a little Wink of Stella for shine.  No embellishments since it is CAS week.  The sentiment is stamped in brown from the same stamp set.  You know I love this sentiment being a Southern girl!
