There Is No Limit to You're Awesomeness--Sparkle & Shine Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkle & Shine Challenge Blog.  We are excited you are here and hope that are inspired! For this challenge, please use the photo inspiration below when creating your projects. You can create in any way you like as long as we can see the inspiration in your design. 

For this challenge we are sponsored by the amazing online store Right at Home!  The winner of our challenge will receive a $15 gift card to her store and be asked to join us next month as our Guest Designer.

My card was created for my wonderful Uncle Paul.  Today is his 97th birthday!!!!   He reminds me so much of my Daddy and I love him so much! 

My card was inspired by the gray chevrons and the fun colors in the inspiration photo.  My base card is white.  The next layer is Island Indigo card stock.  The chevrons were created using using Hickory Smoke Distress ink.  I cut the panel out using Avery Elle's Wonky Frames.  The small banners were cut from a variety of card stock using SugarPea Design-Stitched Flags.  Enamel dots were added on each banner for fun,  Baker's Twine was added on the top of the card.  The sentiment is stamped in Momento black from a retired Stampin Up! Stamp.

It's Monday and time for a new challenge at The Challenge!
This week we have a very beautiful color combo for you! We can't wait to see what you create!

A few rules to keep things fun and fair!

1. Use the challenge to create a card.

My card features a stamp set by Paper Smooches-Love Struck.  The base card is Real Red. The white card stock was embossed with an arrow embossing folder.  I created the red, gray, pink and white target with the SugarPea Designs-Zig Zag Circle Dies.  The little cupid was colored with Copic Markers . Two stitched banners  were cut with My Favorite Things-Stitched Fishtail Flag Banners.  The sentiment was stamped in black Momento ink.  I added two red hearts and covered them with Glossy Accents to make them shine.

The Only Elements Yo Need--PP #282

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The lovely Laurie is our hostess and she has a beautiful color combo for us to play along with.  She lives in snowy ND and I know she must have her mind on warmer days with these colors.  :)))  We can't wait to see what you create!  

My base card is white.  The next layer is Pool Party.  The Tangerine Tango DSP is from a retired paper pack from Stampin' Up! -Flowerpot.  I used two other retired SU -DSP's for the other two patterns.  I mounted them on Pool Party card stock, too.  The coffee cup, glasses and sentiment are from the Your Next Stamp-Java Geek Stamp Set.  I used black Momento ink to stamp the paper pieces for the cup and fussy cut them to make the colorful cup.  The glasses are stamped in black ink and covered with Glossy Accents to make them look real. Your Next Stamp-Java Geek Dies were used to cut out the glasses and coffee cup.  

 I added a few Pool Party diamond shapes that I found on my table top from another project and added Tangerine Tango candy dots for fun.  I was having a hard time with these colors, but was happy at the way this turned out.  It made me smile!
