My card is created for my nephew.  He is turning 30!  How did that happen?  He is an avid bird watcher!  He takes a lot of pictures and when I found this Tim Holtz camera stamp in my stash, I knew just what I wanted to do.  I found some masculine papers in my stash and followed the sketch to great this card.  I did sponge some distress ink around the camera to make it look aged.  The sentiment says it all.  This card was very easy to put together.  I will be using this sketch again!

Be As Bold As Your Lipstick Paper Players Challenge PP493

May 31, 2020

Can you believe it is the last day of May?

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The lovely Jaydee is our hostess this week and she has a fabulous Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge for all of us!  I always love these boards.  There are just so many possibilities!  Have fun!

My card is completed using the Middle Column:  Girly, Die-Cut, Friendship

I love this set, so I decided to make another card with it.  I am a huge fan of lipstick and miss wearing it.  With a mask on, I figure no one can see it so, I don't waste it.  LOL!  I hope we can sport our favorite shade again very soon!

My card is created on a white card base.  I used Mint Macaron behind my " Best Dressed" DSP (Stampin' Up!)  I used an oval stitched dies by MFT for the ovals.  The "Dressed To Impress" (SU) stamp set was used to stamp the lipstick and sentiment !  I added a smear of lipstick in Lovely Lipstick ink.  I colored the tubes with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella for shine.  A few sparkling clear sequins were added to complete my card.

Peace Keeping Christmas

May 25, 2020

It's time for this month's installment of the Keeping Christmas Inspriration Blog Hop!  The Challenge Design Team is sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month!

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in your stash ready to go for December 2020!

So hop along and be sure to visit each blog.
There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

Claire Broadwater (you are here)

I created two card for my blog this month.  I selected Christmas DSP and added it to a Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green card base.  I added a strip of each color to separate the DSP.

I used the Perfect Poinsettia Dies from MFT to make the two poinsettias.  I love this die set.  I used bright pink and red to create the poinsettias.  The leaves were cut with the Garden Green.  I cut the word Peace out five times for each sentiment to add dimension.  A few enamel dots were added to each card.

The inside of each card is created using a strip of the DSP and a sentiment from Tim Holtz.  I will be making these in different colors to add to my Christmas stash.

Thanks for stopping by!  Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I love to hear from you!  Do you have a favorite?

The hop is hosted by the fabulous Kelly Lunceford's blog, so head over there to start from the beginning.

ENJOY the blog hop!  I hope we inspired you to make a few cards, too!
