Here is sketch #589

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a piece of patterned paper cut with a stitched die.  The circle is created on water color paper using  water colors.  I sprayed the circle with water for distressing and then added flecks of white paint to look like snow.  The Santa is from Papertrey Inks Believe stamp set.  I colored him with Copic Markers and added Snow Writer to his fur for dimension.  The sentiment is from SugarPea Designs Here Comes Santa Claus stamp set.  I added three red enamel dots to complete my card.

It's time for a new challenge at Inspired By!

This week's photo is a favorite of mine.  I love the warmth and rustic feel of these beautiful blankets.

How does this photo inspire you?  The colors, the texture, the trio, the patterns?  We can't wait to see what you create.

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a black panel on top of the base.  The top layer is created using Memento Brown ink using the Penny Black Mosaic Pattern Background stamp.  

I cut a dark brown oval and then cut a smaller oval in Kraft paper and embossed it with an embossing folder.  The deer and sentiment are stamped in black using the Simon Says Stamp Believe In the Season stamp set.

Winter Wishes Krafty Chicks Challenge #480

I am thrilled to announce that I am going to be the Guest Designer for the month of November at the 
Krafty Chicks Challenge.  It is an honor to be asked by my friend Lori Turner!  Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

The challenge is anything goes, but the "Twist" is "Winter"!  I know you will have a lot of fun with this one!  

My card is created using the Gina K Festive Flowers stamp set.  I stamped the image with Versa Fine ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder on water color paper.  I used two colors of Distress Inks to sponge the background on top of the embossed flower.  I added silver pen to some of the leaves.  I trimmed the panel with a die and added silver glimmer paper behind the panel.  The "Winter" sentiment was cut three times in white and one time in silver glimmer paper.  I love the dimension when you stack the sentiments.  I heat embossed the word wishes in white embossing powder.
