I'm All Ears--PP233and SC98

February 21, 2015

It's Sunday and time for another fun challenge at The Paper Players!  The lovely, Sandy has a fun sketch challenge for us this week!  It is such a fabulous sketch and we can't wait to see what you create!

I am also going to link my card to the Stampin' Celebration Challenge.
Their challenge is all about balloons this week!  How fun is this!

I had so much fun making this card.  I just received this fun stamp set "Honey Bunny" from Mama Elephant.  I paper pieced the bunnies from old paper in my stash.  I made my background paper by taking embossing paste and crushed curry re-inker and stenciled the yellow circles.  I love making the embossed papers. The balloons are from the Mama Elephant stamp set, "Up and Away."  I used a variety of Copic Markers to color the balloons.  I heat embossed the sentiment with the retired Tempting Turquoise powder by Stampin' Up!  The white enamel dots were perfect for their tails!

I love making an envelope to match.  It was made with the same paper used for one of the bunnies.

You Crack Me Up!--FMS174

February 20, 2015

My sweet GRANDdaughters are still visiting so, my crafting time is limited.  It took 3 days to finish my card. 5 minutes here and there and my card is completed for the  Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  I need to get started on my Easter cards and this sketch is so fun.  It is the perfect sketch for any type of card.

I received this fun border die from SugarPea Designs Incentive program.  I just love making my own background papers.  The chevrons were just right for the movement I needed to go with the little chicks!  They make me smile every time I look at them dancing off!

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.  I love to hear from you!

I used a retired embossing folder from Stampin' Up! and some enamel dots in my stash on my card.

It's Friday and time for another fun challenge at The Friday Mashup!

This week's Mashup Challenge:
  • Create a project using the "Sketch".
  • Create a project with anything "Flight Themed (hot air balloon, plane, kite, etc)"
  • or Mash it Up! and create a project "using the sketch and anything flight themed".

The Challenge will close on Wednesday Feb. 25th @ 6pm EST. Be sure to read the guidelines above under "about the FM" if you are new to our Challenge and Welcome. We can't wait to see what you create with this fun Mash' Up!

I was so excited about the transportation theme because I finally ordered the "MY GUY" stamp and die set from Paper Smooches.  I just love this set.  I live in a community where almost everyone plays golf, so I know it will get a lot of use.

I hope you enjoy my card!

It is perfect for any guy's birthday, or a thank you note or just an I love you card!
