It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.
The lovely Jan is our hostess this week. What a fun color challenge she has for all of us. I decided to step out of the box and use these colors to create a Christmas card. I can't wait to see what you decide to create with this pretty palette. Have fun and get creative!

Claire, I love the colors of blue and green you chose. They work beautifully together. I love the swag over the candles. Have a wonderful week

Oh, Claire! What a beautiful image and die set! Yep...I will be checking it out for sure. Thank you for including the link. The embossing folder you used creates a simple, lovely texture that enhances the focal point without overpowering it. These colors are perfect non-traditional holiday colors. LOVE it! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteClaire this is fabulous - I would not have thought to use these colours on a Christmas card! I love the textured panel behind your lovely storm lantern - just enough detail to allow those candles to shine!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely Christmas card, Claire! Those candles and lantern look amazing--you did a great job with them, and the greenery is perfect!
ReplyDeleteWell, I never saw Christmas in these colours but you've made it work well. I like the texture on the blue background while the blue bow ties all the elements together. Thanks for making my colours shine. :-)
ReplyDeleteClever you, making a Christmas card with these colors. And now that I see your card, I think they are great colors for the holidays - tree, deer and blue sky, right? Anyway, the lantern is so pretty and I love the bow on top of the greenery. Wonderfully done!
ReplyDeleteI think these colors worked quite well for your Christmas card, Claire! I really like that lantern image with the candles.
