Paris is Always Good Idea The Paper Players Challenge PP732

April 6, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Jan is our hostess this week and she has such a fun theme challenge for all of us!  Who doesn't have dreams of traveling?  I sure do--my bucket list is long!!  Have fun and get creative and let us see what you have in mind for traveling!

I have always wanted to go to Paris and I am actually going in June.  My dear friend is going with me so, I made this card for her.  I had this pad of paper in my stash from a few years ago.  I decided to make a slim line card with it.  I cut a scalloped black border using a die from Pink Fresh Studio.  The paper did all the work.  The girl on her bike is stamped using the Technique Tuesday stamp -Belle on a Bike.  I paper pieced her skirt and colored her with Copic Markers.  I love when the paper does all the work!

  1. Claire, you had me at Pink and Paris! The slimline design works so well with the sentiment. The bicyclist is adorable, with her pink polka-dot skirt. Congratulations on your upcoming trip! June will be here before you know it. I can't wait to hear all about it. Have a wonderful week!

  6. Oooh la la! I just love your lady on a bike and, Paris is ALWAYS a good idea. I absolutely love Paris. The streets, the fashion, the cafes, the boulangerie serving wonderful pastries, the wonderful, tall doors hiding heavens knows what wonderful architecture behind them. Oh... not so fond of the ever-present dog poop :-)! The museums, Montmartre, the Tower, the parks, the Seine, ok... I admit...I'm jealous that you are going in June. You will absolutely love it. Oh.... and I love your card, too! Thank you for taking me back to my times in Paris :-)

  7. Paris is indeed always a good idea; I've been 3 times - you will love it! The Eiffel Tower is of course classic, but so many wonderful art galleries and things to see and do. Your card is very chic and has a wonderful French vibe - perfect to get your friend excited for the trip!
