Sending My Love The Paper Players Challenge PPPP793

 July 5, 2026

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The Amazing Ann is our hostess this week and she has a fun theme challenge for all of us. Summer Love! Wedding cards, anniversary cards, any card that conveys love - the sky is the limit on what you can create when love is the theme.

I don't have any weddings or anniversaries to celebrate this summer, so I thought I would make a fun card that can go to anyone.  I cut a scalloped panel in white and used a heart stencil and Peacock Feathers Distress ink to created my main panel.  I used a LOVE die from my stash.  It looks groovy, doesn't it?  I used bright pink card stock for the background.  My sentiment is stamped in black.  A few enamel dots were added for fun.

  3. Cute! Cute! Cute! This old "flower child" can confirm that your card is 100% groovy! The colors are perfect for the era. I think I drew that same bubble-font "LOVE" on all of my folders back in the day. Thank you for really, really rocking my challenge, my friend...and for bringing back many memories!

  4. Groovy is indeed the first word that came to mind with that bold 'love' in that font. The whole card is a lovely piece of retro.. and I do like those green hearts. :-)
