It's Sunday and time for new challenges at The Paper Players and Sunday Stamps.
The creative Christy is the hostess at The Paper Players this week. She has a fun Clean and Simple Challenge for all of us. The theme is perfect for Spring--"Baby Animals." So many choices, just keep it CAS. Our color combo at Sunday Stamps is perfect for the season, so I combined these challenges this week.
When I think of CAS, I usually go with white. I was looking through my embossing folders and found this one in my stash. I think it was one of my first embossing folders. I have had it for years and thought it needed a little love. I adore the little tulips. I bought the Stampin' Up Storybook Friends paper pack and die frames last year and never used them. So, I decided on this fun frame and cut it out with pink card stock. The little mouse was in the paper pack and her cup brought in yellow, pink and green from the color combo for Sunday Stamps.

Your adorable mouse is so sweet, Claire! Those soft spring colors from Sunday Stamps are perfect with the baby animal theme, I will have to have a go at that palette this week. The tulips on the edges really enhance the spring theme, too. Thanks for making my challenge shine and have a wonderful week!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty CAS card, Claire! That sweet mouse in a teacup is adorable and what a stroke of luck that all the colors match the SSC challenge. I like the double framing too, with both the embossed panel and the pretty pink die cut. So very pretty!

ReplyDeleteClaire, your scene reminds me of a classic English Tea Room. The sweet floral teacups, the soft feminine colors and that wonderful scrolled frame. Your little mouse is the sweetest thing with her little pink bow! Love it!
