Wishing You a Blessed Easter The Paper Players Challenge PP779

March 29, 2026

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The amazing Ann is our hostess this week.  I love a Tic-Tac-Toe board and this one is just perfect to complete any type of card.  So have fun and get creative!

My card is created using the diagonal: die cut, flowers, layers.  Ann and I love layers so this is for her!

My card is created using a Melon Mambo background that I embossed with a bamboo embossing folder.  The envelope and ALL the flowers and foliage were created using Spellbinders Envelope of Wonder dies.  I will admit this card took a LONG time to create.  I cut leaves and flowers and then kept adding layers on the polka dot envelope. I love the colors and all the variety of flowers and leaves.  The sentiment if from an old Easter set that I found in my stash.  I added a Baker's Twine bow and pearls to complete my card.

  1. Such a beautiful bold, bright bouquet, Claire! I love the color palette and that you went with Melon Mambo for the card base, that's not a color that I use all that often though it looks wonderful. This is sure to brighten anyone's day. Have a fabulous week, Claire!

  5. Amazing! From that bright, textured background, sweet spotty envelope and the absolute explosion of bright blooms, this card is a triumph. I did think that die cutting all those flowers would be an absolute labour of love - let alone assembling them all - but my goodness, it was worth the effort! :-)

  8. Claire, I love how you used all those bright, vibrant colors with this die set! It's so pretty and cheerful, with the multiple layers of flowers, stems and leaves. I have to admit I have this die set and it's never been used, so you've inspired me to do so!
