Make A Wish The Paper Players Challenge PP

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. 

The creative Christy is our hostess this week and she has a very fun Theme Challenge for all of us.  She wants us to use "Mythical Creatures" on our projects.  So put on your thinking caps and think of mythology, folk tales, dragons, fairies, gnomes, unicorns, mermaids, leprechauns.  Have fun!   


I really had to dig through my stash to find something that would fit the theme.  I came across this little fairy and she made me smile.  She is from SugarPea Designs, Fairy Sweet stamp set.  They are no longer in business, but I saved all of my stamps from them.  I loved them all.   I cut a piece of patterned paper from my stash.  I just loved the colors in this paper.  I added a matching piece from the pack that had birthday words on it.  The little fairy is colored in Copic Markers and I added Wink of Stella for shine.  The little gemstones were added to complete my card.  The sentiment if from the same stamp set. 

The Paper Players

    An adorable card, Claire! This little fairy is SO sweet. You have done a beautiful job coloring her. I see why you have kept her in your stash. The papers and colors you selected are perfect. I LOVE all of the gemstones. Someone is going to cherish this card. Have a wonderful week!

    Your fairy is so cute, Claire! I love the color you used for the card base and the mat around the fairy, such a pretty color, and that patterned paper with the gold leaves is gorgeous. I hope you had fun with the challenge, you certainly made a beautiful card for it!

    Now that it is one cute fairy! I like the way you've layered her into the picture too and the colours are really pretty. :-)

    Claire, I adore that little fairy, she's a keeper for sure! The layers of pattern papers are so pretty and festive, and the turquoise framing pulls it all together. So very sweet!

    This is just so sweet---that little fairy is perfect for Christy's challenge. Lovin' those papers and sweet scalloped frame! Adorable!

    Claire, what a totally adorable little fairy. I love the papers you used and how you offset them. I also love that you carried the pink from her fairy dress through all of the layers. This card just makes me happy looking at it!
