It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.
I am the hostess this week and I have a fun and versatile sketch for all of you! You can make any type of card with this sketch. So grab your supplies and get creative. Have fun!
My card is created for Miss Addison's 17th birthday. (I can't believe she will be 17!) She loves all things pink, Disney, books and bows. I found the Disney castle stamp in my stash. I don't think it was ever used. I stamped it in Versa Mark and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. It is really shiny! I cut a book mark die for the banner element. She can take it off the card and use it in a book. I added a pink background with lots of polka dots. I cut the heart borders and added them to a blue rectangle panel. A white bow and a few rhinestones because every girl needs some bling completed my card.

17?!!! How can that be? What a delightful card for a Disney-loving "princess"! She'll adore this!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...Addison is 17 already? She will treasure this card. It is perfect for anyone who loves pink, Disney, and bows! Thank you for the wonderful sketch. I LOVED it! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful silver castle, Claire! I think the fun bright colors and little heart borders are perfect for a 17-year-old--she's sure to love this! Thanks for a fun sketch this week!
ReplyDeleteEven without reading, the hearts, the pink and the castle add up to 'this woman has a granddaughter!' I'm sure she'll love it. The little bit of blue and the heart border is a great way to break up the pink. Sweet card Claire and I thought your sketch was so great to work with too. Thank you! :-)
