To The Birthday Girl Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC352

January 19, 2025

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

We have a great sketch by Heidi this week.  We can't wait to see what you create.  It is so versatile and you can make a card for any occasion with this one.

My card was created for my friend, I thought this would make her smile in the middle of winter.  I found this paper in my stash and created the sketch with a mix of patterns.  The My Favorite Things Pure Innocence  "Beach Girl" is colored with Copic Markers.  She is no longer available on their site, but I will keep her in my stash.  I popped up the image on a white circle embossed with polka dots.  I added a few enamel dots by the sentiment.

Sending a Whole Lot of Love Your Way The Paper Players PP721

January 19, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at
The Paper Players.

The lovely Jaydee is our hostess this week.  She loves Clean and Simple and her challenge is all about a letter.  Who doesn't love to get a card or letter in the mail?  No one writes letters anymore, but I still think of my Mom and how she wrote me a letter ever week.  I sure miss that.  So have fun and get creative!

I chose the Pure Innocence "You've Got Mail" girl to be the star of the card.  She is from My Favorite Things  and is no longer available but, I will keep her in my stash.  I colored her with Copic Markers and and added some Wink of Stella to give her some shine.  The background was created with some Valentine paper in my stash and a cover plate I had in my die collection.

Snow Much Love The Paper Players PP 720

January 12, 2025

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

I sure hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to start a new year playing along with us!

Elizabeth is our hostess this week and she has a gorgeous color challenge for us.  Pink, Orange and Green are the colors she choose.  You can use any shade of these colors and you can also add in any neutral.  So have fun and get creative!

We had our first snow in Atlanta on Friday.  We had not had snow it 3 years.   It was beautiful to look at, but I am not a huge fan of winter.  So, I decided to have some fun with it.  I created a panel of embossed snowflakes using an embossing folder.  I used a sponge to add some black ink to create a little contrast.  I do love snowmen and I pulled out this fabulous stencil by Waffle Flower Stamps.  The Oversized Snowman Stencil is easy to use and I had fun creating this trio of friends.  I used Distress inks in Pickled Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Twisted Citron.  I then sponged some black ink over the scarf.  The sentiment is from Waffle Flower Stamps and it is called Snow Cheer Sentiements.  I used the matching dies to cut it out. I hope these jolly snowmen made you smile!

Winter Wishes Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC 351

 January 5, 2025

Happy NEW YEAR!

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

We have a beautiful color challenge for all of you! We can't wait to see what you create!

I am NOT a fan of winter, but I love snowmen!  I knew I had to have this fabulous new stencil by Waffle Flower Stamps when I saw it.  The Oversized Snowman Stencil
is easy to use and so fun, too!  I choose 3 of the colors and went to work.  I choose the orange, yellow and mauve colors.   I made his smile mauve.  LOL!   I stenciled some polka dots on his scarf and added a few snowflakes that I cut with a die.  Wink of Stella, rhinestones and glossy accents added to his nose made him shine.
