My card is created for my Sweetie.  He turned "70" this week!  How did that happen?  I used some navy and gold foils that I found in my stash. I used a lot of old dies in my stash.  The tag was from SSS and the numbers are from Stampin' Up!

Blowing You A Kiss Paper Players PP477

February 9, 2020

Today is a very special day for me.  My Twins, Joe and John turn 40 today!!!!!!!!!  How did that happen?  Life certainly flies by.  They have brought me so much joy and I look forward to many more special times together.  I don't get to see them often, but I am so happy they are doing well, have beautiful families and talk to their Mom almost every day.  You can't ask for more than that.

It is time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

The amazingly talented Ann is our hostess this week and she has a beautiful color challenge for all of us!  We are so excited to see what you create!

My card is created using a white card base.  I added a black panel and then a red flowered patterned paper.  Then, I cut the SugarPea Designs Dangle Hearts Cover Plate in pink and added it to the top.  I cut a black circle with a SSS stitched die and cut a coordinating flower circle to place on top of the black circle.  The little girl is from MFT Pure Innocence Blowing Kisses stamp set.  I colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced her dress with polka dots.  I added a little red heart in her hands.  This is for my Grand Daughter Victoria.   This little girl reminds me of her.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  This color combo is so fun because the black adds a fun element to the red and pink.  Thanks Ann for a great color combo to work with.

Good Shoes, Good Friends, Good Life Inspired By 110

Feb. 6, 2020

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge at Inspired By

With Valentine's Day coming, you might be going on a date.  We don't do Valentine's dinner out.  Just too many people for us!  LOL!

How does this photo inspire you?  Is it the lipstick, perfume, makeup, colors?  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a black card base.  I added a Real Red panel cut with a scalloped die.  The white panel is cut with a rectangle die.  The shoes are from The Ton Power Pumps stamp set.  I stamped them with black and grey inks. The red sole was colored with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  A few sparkling clear sequins were added for fun.

I must say, I don't own a pair of Christian Louboutin
shoes.  I don't think I could walk in them if I did!  But, I LOVE shoes and this sentiment makes me smile!

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Check out all the inspiration from the Design Team.  We sure hope you will play along with us this week!
