I Love You Rain or Shine PP437

April 14, 2019

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.  The amazing Ann is our hostesses this week and she has a beautiful trio of colors for us to work with.  We can't wait to see what you create!

My card is created on a Calypso Coral card base.  I added a layer of Balmy Blue cut with a scalloped die.  I cut a layer of white card stock with a stitched rectangle die on the top.  I stenciled raindrops on the white panel.  The little ducks are stamped in black and colored with Copic Markers.   I used the Neat and Tangled Eggstra Special stamp set for the ducks.  The umbrella is paper pieced using the Sunny Studios Rain of Shine stamp set.  The puddles are stamped in Balmy Blue using the same set.

The sentiment is stamped in black using the MFT BB Rain or Shine stamp set.  I added the same paper on the envelope that I used on the umbrella.  I completed the inside using the same layers as on the front of the card and added a little duck inside for fun.

Happy Easter Sketch Saturday #559

 Good Morning Everyone...
We have a great sponsor this week:

Polkadoodles has generously offered a £6.75/3 digi stamps voucher to their shop!

Here is sketch #559

My card is created on a white card base.  I covered the front panel with a piece of fun Spring paper I found in my stash.  A rectangle  of yellow flowers was added to follow the sketch.  I cut two white borders to add to each side of the rectangle.   The little girls are from Neat and Tangled stamps--Cottontail Cuties.  I used the matching dies to cut them out.   I colored them with Copic Markers.  A grass border was cut  on the bottom with green card stock.  A few enamel dots were added to complete my card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog!  Don't forget to visit all the DT blogs for lots of inspiration!  We sure hope you will play along with us!

Inspired By # 67 Rainy Day Party--- Let's Do Lunch!

April 11, 2019

I am thrilled to announce that I am joining the Inspired By Challenge Design Team!  When Laurel asked me to be on the team I was elated!!!!

Here is the photo inspiration for this week!

 April Showers bring---
What inspires you about this photo?  clouds, colors, food, clusters???

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a light blue panel to the top of the base.  I loved all the pastel colors in the photo so, I selected a pastel floral layer on top of the blue.  The adorable little girl image is from SugarPea Designs.  I colored the image with Copic Markers and paper pieced the umbrella and picnic basket towel with gingham checks.  I added two clouds and some rain drops from the Mama Elephant Stitched Sky Dies.  Since it is a rainy day picnic, I added the fun Let's Do Lunch sentiment from Craftin' Desert Diva's set.

We hope you will play along with us this week.  Check out the other DT cards for lots of inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by!
