My card is created on white card base.  I found this cactus paper in my stash and thought it was perfect!  I trimmed two matching papers for the background layers.  The pots and cacti are from Stamps for Life Succulents2 stamp and cut with the matching dies. The cacti were colored with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  I added a few sparkling clear sequins to complete my card.

Don't forget to check out all the amazing projects from the Design Team.

Bite Me! PP403

July 29, 2018

It’s Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players!

I am the hostess this week and I have a fun sketch challenge for all of you!  I love layers and this sketch can be used for any type of card.  I can't wait to see all of your fabulous ideas!

My card is created on a white card base.  I trimmed a piece of black card stock to fit the front of the card.  The ant patterned paper was cut for the main panel.  I trimmed two coordinating papers to make the two rectangles for the sketch.  The boy and sentiment are a digital stamp but,  I can't find where I purchased it.     Sorry  --I had it in my files.  I printed it  and then trimmed it with a tag die.  I colored the image with Copic Markers.  Wink of Stella and a black ribbon was added to complete my card.

Looking for some inspiration?  Make sure you check out all the blogs of the Design Team Members.

Be Jolly Keeping Christmas

July 25, 2018

WOW!  5 months until Christmas!  Time to get started on your stash!

I am honored to be a part of the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Blog Hop.

It's time for this month's installment of Keeping Christmas with The Challenge Design Team!  We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month!!!

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash ready to go for December 2018!

So hop along and be sure to visit each blog.
There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

Lesley Croghan (off this month)

I had so much fun creating this trio of cards.

All of my cards are on a 5 X 5 white card base.  I dug through my box of Christmas papers and found these matching pieces.  I used the assembly line method and cut the backgrounds first.  I added two rectangles on each card base and mounted them on Lemon Lime Twist card stock.

I stamped the snowmen in Memento black ink.  The stamp is from Artistic Outpost Frosty and Friends.  I trimmed the stamped image and added a background in Lemon Lime Twist card stock.   I used colored pencils to color the scarves and mittens.

The sentiments were cut using the Lawn Fawn Winter Big Scripty word dies.  I cut "Be Jolly" and "Be Merry" four times and added Glossy Accents for lots of shine.

Enamel Dots were added on all the cards. Each one has a personality of it's own.  I hope these make your smile!

Thanks for stopping by!  Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.  I love to hear from you!

The hop is hosted by the fabulous Kelly Lunceford's blog, so head over there to start from the beginning.

ENJOY the blog hop!  I hope we inspired you to make a few cards, too!
