My card is created on a white card base.  I used a scalloped die to cut a Berry Blast layer.  Then a white layer was cut with a rectangle stitched die.  The polka dot piece was in my stash and it matched.  Don't you love that?  I also cut a white stitched circle to put behind the little MFT Pure Innocence image.  It  is the Birthday Girl and I colored her with Copic Markers.  I cut it out with the matching dies.  I paper pieced her dress and shopping bags.  Wink of Stella was added for shine and I also gave the girl a little pearl necklace.  All Southern girls wear pearls!  LOL! The sentiment is from the same stamp set and heat embossed in white powder.

You Brighten My Life--FMS 327

March 8, 2018

Today I am playing along with the fabulous team at Freshly Made Sketches!  Jen M. has a fun sketch this week.  I love that you can use any shape to create your card!

Linda Callahan, this is for you!  I know you are in the middle of a snow storm!  Brighter days ahead, My Friend!  XX

My card is created on a white card base.  I used Daffodil Delight to create the back layer.  I trimmed a white layer with a stitched rectangle die and used a sun stencil to create the sunshine with distress inks.  I used distress inks and Mama Elephant Ocean Waves Dies to create the ocean layers.  The MFT Pure Innocence Beach Day stamp set for the little girl image.  I colored her with Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella to her suit for shine.  The matching dies to cut her out.  The sentiment is stamped in black using the same stamp set.

So happy you stopped by my blog today!  I know we are all waiting on warmer days!  I hope my card made you smile!

It's time for a new challenge at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

We have a fantastic board for all of you!

We would love for you to take some inspiration from the challenge board above, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what we challenge you to create! Don’t forget to link back to us, and to use our hashtags #tictactoechallenge and #tttc038.

My card is created using the bottom row:  Polka Dots, Die Cuts, Happy.

My card is created on a white card base.  I cut a green polka dot layer for the background.  I used a stitched rectangle die for the white panel, too.  The
green scalloped circle and white circle were cut with dies.  The little rabbit in his carrot car is from Your Next Stamp Sprinklers-Happy Easter.  I colored him with Copic Markers and cut him out with the matching dies.  I found the strip of carrot paper in may stash and was so excited.  I made the banner using a die, too. I used a lot of dies, polka dots and I think this card will bring a whole lot of happy to my GRANDson!  vroom!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, please pop over and see more inspiration from the rest of the Tic Tac Toe design team and I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week!
