Happy Easter DD#92

March 2, 2014

Good Sunday Morning!  I hope you are having a great day!  The sun is shining and I am thankful that I am not in the Mid-West today with all the snow!  I am thinking of all my family and friends in Indiana and Kentucky!  I know you are all so weary with winter and snow!

The colors for the Dynamic Duos Color Challenge are great this week.  I would not have paired these colors together, but now I LOVE the combo.  That is why I love participating in challenges.  It makes you step outside the box and try new ideas.  Thank you to the Design Team for all your inspiration!!!!

I know everyone is ready for Spring and I need to make Easter cards.  I hope you will enjoy my card!

I was playing with my paper punches and decided to create an Easter Egg with the colors.  I cut an oval with the oval framelit and pieced the Rose Red DSP in layers after cutting the edges with a zig zag punch.  I love the way it turned out.  You always need polka dots on an Easter Egg.  :)))

When I got out my Easter box, I found this adorable Bunny from Pretty Little Studio-Hopscotch Tags Collection.  I forgot I bought these and was so excited when I saw this little face smiling up at me!  It was like he said, "Pick ME!, PICK ME!" The colors were perfect for the challenge!  Don't you just love it when you find a treasure in your supplies!  :)))))

You're Amazing! FMS125

March 1, 2014

It has been a wonderful, relaxing day for me!  I have been able to spend most of the day in my craft room.  I love that!  I am embarrassed to admit this, but I am still in my pajamas!  Isn't that the Best?!?!?

The Freshly Made Sketches is really great this week.  I LOVE the simplicity of the sketch.  When I looked at the sketch, I knew which paper I wanted to use.   My favorite paper in the Celebrate the Everyday Catalog is Kaleidoscope!!  It is bright, vibrant and the colors are so fun to use on a card.  Pair the Basic Black and Whisper White with Bermuda Bay and I am a happy crafter!
