Today is such a dreary day.  Most of my decorating is finished and I finally got a chance to make a card for Dynamic Duos.  I love Midnight Muse and pairing it with another color was such a fun challenge.  I spent such a long time deciding on another color.  I bet I cut out 5 different things before making a choice.  Well, here goes!

Peppermint Treats PPA 181

I am trying to catch up on some of the challenges that I love to enter.
Pals Paper Arts is one of my favorites.  Here is my take on their sketch this week.  ENJOY!

Peppermints are one of my comfort items for Christmas.  They remind me of my childhood.  I love to have them as treats for anyone that stops by.  I also love peppermint ice-cream for the holidays!

Happy New Year FMS 114

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving!  My Mom spent a week with me and my sons, bonus daughter and my sweet GRAND daughters were here for a few days!  I couldn't ask for a better holiday!!!!
I am very thankful for the time I had with all of them.  My Mom left this morning and now it is back to reality.  Not going in my craft room for a week was very hard for me.  Lots of ideas are running through my mind.  I really should be decorating for Christmas and cleaning my house, but that will come later today.  Priorities, right?!?!?

The Freshly Made Sketches Challenge was so inviting, I just had to play along.  I only have  a few hours until the deadline, but I am thrilled to be able to enter.
