I am home from Chicago and we had a fabulous time!!!  Lots of great food, wonderful shopping and time with special friends!!  The weather was mild for November.  It was sunny and bright until we left and then it started to rain.  I was also able to get some Garrett's Chicago Mix Popcorn and that makes me very happy. 

I absolutely love Real Red and Bermuda Bay!  They are my favorite Stampin' Up! Colors.  I am so behind this week with entering challenges, so I decided to pair the Dynamic Duo Color Challenge with the Sketch Frenzy Friday Sketch.  That way, I got to use my favorite Color Duo before the challenge ends.  The simplicity of the sketch was perfect for my card.

I am leaving for Chicago in the morning and here I am blogging instead of packing my suitcase.  My priorities are in order.  Ha Ha!

I loved the sketch at Create with Connie and Mary this week, so I decided to make one more card before we leave.  I will be in withdraw for my craft room by the time we get back home.

Santa Claus Merry Monday #81

Another month has ended and I can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner!!!   I love the Always Playing With Paper, Merry Monday Sketch this week.  It is perfect for me!  I absolutely LOVE Santa and I have a huge collection of the Jolly Old Elf!  I especially love the old vintage/ retro looking Santas.  I live outside of Atlanta and the World of Coke is a must see.  They have portraits of the original Santas used in their advertising over the years.  I could stand in that room forever and look at every detail.  It brings tears to my eyes.  If you are ever in Atlanta, you should go for a tour!
                                                            
I bought this Santa stamp a few years ago and never used it.  I am so happy to finally have a chance to make this Jolly Santa.  I hope he makes you smile!   I made a pocket card that I can insert a gift card on the back for a gift.  Ho, Ho, Ho!!!!
